What Have We Been Up To? The Dream Project Symposium

By: @1stLadyofPR

For those of you who missed the Dream Project Symposium (Atlanta), make a note to yourself to NEVA do that again!

We had an incredible time assisting with the production of this grand project! Egami Consulting's CEO, Teneshia Jackson Warner is a true courageous and bold visionary who obeyed the calling to produce this grand event that had the likes of Cathy Hughes (TV One), Russell Simmons (RUSH Communications, Global Grind, Phat Farm & Def Jam), Will Packer (Think Like a Man, Rainforest Films) and Master Life Coach, Sylvia High.

Attendees were encouraged to tap into their kid-selves and go back to those dreams they've always had, abandoned and to give them new life! Hughes was inspiring as she shared about the ups and downs of dreaming against the greater rewards of never giving up and having such great audacity!  The wisdom and knowledge we were privy to is incomparable so all I can tell you is to make sure to sign up for the next one!

In the meantime, enjoy these media clips and pictures and SEE YA NEXT YEAR!

National Media Takes Notice as Jasmine Guy continues to Speak Out Against Child Sex Trafficking for "I Am Not Yours!"

Actress, Director, Producer, Jasmine Guy has been making a lot of noise as the national spokeswoman for the "I Am Not Yours!" Campaign, a fight against child sex trafficking.

On the heels of a successful campaign launch for "I Am Not Yours!", a campaign committed to taking a stand against child sexual exploitation, Jasmine Guy has been making her case in national media with the likes of NPR, CNN's Suzanne Malveaux, Huffington Post and most recently on HLN's "Raising America" where she discussed the disturbing statistics associated with child sex trafficking, an issue that falls under the Human trafficking/sex slavery offenses.

Ms. Guy spoke on the very illusive and persuasive ways children between the ages of 12 - 17 are victimized by child sex traffickers and why adults have the ultimate responsibility of protecting our children. She also spoke to key ways adults can tell if a child is the victim of a child sex exploiter.

See videos below:

Our very own Kenny Pugh made his third (3rd) appearance in a row on HLN's "Weekend Express" with Natasha Curry this past Sunday, March 10th as a featured guest. Pugh shared about his personal choice to remain celibate as a single man, talked about his bestselling title, "Can You Do It Standing Up? A Different Position on Relationships" and his "Celibacy Is Sexy" campaign.  He was joined by Essence Magazine's relationship editor, Charreah Jackson, who did an article about being "Single, Saved & Celibate" in the March 2013 issue of the magazine.

We continue to be VERY proud of the strides Mr. Pugh is making!

Also, here's Mr. Pugh featured in February with Curry on "Weekend Express" as their resident "Love & Money" expert from his BlackEnterprise.com articles posted weekly.
