What Have We Been Up To? The Dream Project Symposium

For those of you who missed the Dream Project Symposium (Atlanta), make a note to yourself to NEVA do that again!

We had an incredible time assisting with the production of this grand project! Egami Consulting's CEO, Teneshia Jackson Warner is a true courageous and bold visionary who obeyed the calling to produce this grand event that had the likes of Cathy Hughes (TV One), Russell Simmons (RUSH Communications, Global Grind, Phat Farm & Def Jam), Will Packer (Think Like a Man, Rainforest Films) and Master Life Coach, Sylvia High.

Attendees were encouraged to tap into their kid-selves and go back to those dreams they've always had, abandoned and to give them new life! Hughes was inspiring as she shared about the ups and downs of dreaming against the greater rewards of never giving up and having such great audacity!  The wisdom and knowledge we were privy to is incomparable so all I can tell you is to make sure to sign up for the next one!

It's Wedding Wednesday - 12.12.12!!!

Well today is 12.12.12, a very significant date because of the sequence of numbers and it also signifies a couple of other things:

1. The LAST time we will see a sequence of dates happen like this in our lifetime.......Selah......(waaaay heavy I know, let's change the subject!)

Magical Mondays at T.MORRISON AGENCY

KING OF STRINGS, KEN FORD HOSTS BENEFIT CONCERT FOR THE KEN FORD FOUNDATION

King of Strings Entertainer, Ken Ford has partnered with Ray's Restaurants to host "Strings on the River", on Saturday, May 19th from 12pm - 4pm at Ray's Restaurants.  'Strings on the River' is a benefit concert to provide music education, programs and instruments to children and schools that desire an music arts based curriculum that has been cut due to funding or other disadvantages benefiting The Ken Ford Foundation and Fragile Kids Foundation.

"This is a great day for Fulton County where we merge the charitable side of a business like Ray's and The Ken Ford Foundation's mission of music education," says Foundation Executive Director Annette Davis Jackson. "We are one and the same."

The Ken Ford Foundation is an organization that focuses on enhancing academic excellence through music appreciation and making music classes and programs for youth available throughout the state of Georgia.


Mike Ross, director of operations for Ray's Restaurantsnoted, "With live jazz being such a big part of our restaurants' identities, The Ken Ford Foundation partnership is a natural progression for us." Since founder Ray Schoenbaum opened the doors nearly three decades ago, Ray's Restaurants have been developing deep ties to the local community and charitable organizations. Well, I'm glad you asked!  Let me just say, it's been an exciting ride!

Black Bride's 2nd Annual Bridal Show was a HUGE success and it was a privilege and honor to be part of such a ground-breaking concept!  Thanks to all the media that came out and showed us pre and post love.  Special Thanks to: E. In HONOR of Women's History Month, I want to start off my homage to my grandmother, Anna Lois Davis Morrison, whom I don't remember personally because she passed on when I was only 7 months, but the stories of the love she bestowed upon me, I feel like I've known her all my life - I do remember her love!  Thanks Grandma for believing in me when you first laid eyes on me!

I love to report good news, it keeps a permanent smile on my face, no matter how hard we're working behind the scenes! Here are our clients showing off wonderful talents this week:

Matchmaker, Ming Gregory had an AMAZING time as a guest on The Steve Harvey Morning Show.  She was on to talk about her dating agency, Color Blind International.  Unfortunately, Mr. Harvey was on location in Orlando, but we had the pleasure of meeting Shirley "Strawberry" and "Rashan, Steve's Boss", (he was a trip, made me a little nervous at times, LOL). Steve Harvey is such a FOOL and had us dying laughing the entire time! I can tell his cast have a ball working with him.  The jokes can throw you off your game if you're not ready, but Ming did her thing and before we left, she made sure to let Mr. Harvey know he would be seeing her again, as he instructed us to sit down with his producers to talk about....well, you'll just have to wait to hear more!  In the meantime, if you're in need of some help navigating the online world of dating or really want the help of a professional, check out Ming and her relationship counselor's at Color Blind International.

Parenting Expert, Dr. Bisa is quite the 'go to' woman, zippin' around Atlanta giving her advice, counsel and initiating educational plans for our children. From her work with The United Way of Metro-Atlanta, the Atlanta Public Schools, writing children's books, delivering parenting workshops and giving of her time to several nonprofits and organizations to conducting classes to early childhood educators to help them keep their jobs in place and provide learning tools to enhance our children's educational success, she also finds time to speak to the media - whew, I'm tired!  This week Dr. Bisa spoke with journalist and host, Krystle Nicole Russin on her radio show yesterday giving valuable parenting advice, check it out here.
